What I know about chief Poundmaker and his life

Chief Poundmaker before he became a chief was a warrior but had a care or a love for peace, he cared for everyone that was in his group and he was a very friendly person and a very good hunter and generous to the needy, but ever since the Cree and the Blackfoot have been enemies because of the territory and the buffaloes. The Crees people including Poundmaker was force to accept treaties for their land and moving them to other reserves. So then on many battles and war Chief Poundmaker was skilled warrior and became leader and a very good leader at that. Chief Poundmaker was a very brave leader until there was a bad war again the North-West Rebellion and after the defeat and surrender by the Riel of Batoche he was showing that he can't be taken now that easy he goes the hard way he will stand strong and show courage when he never gave up even though he was surrounded by the other warriors that were against him. All of a sudden Chief Poundmaker there was such a tragic moment when Chief Poundmaker died and the whole village in the place near Battleford made a grave for him and always will remember till this very day. He died when he was 44 years old amd he was Born in 1842, and Died in 1886.

Why did I choose Chief Poundmaker

I choosed Chief Poundmaker because he was the person
who never gave up and fought very hard to the end of every
war that has been there and he was a peace maker and
a great leader and was a person who really cared about
his tribe and even his family but died young with a memory
for his country.
